The Web and The Nest at Garner Arts Center
I am pleased to announce that my artwork, "THE WEB" - a 45-foot double-sided collage on cloth that will be installed between trees, and "THE NEST" - a large human-sized nest made with vines, will be exhibited at the Garner Arts Center in Garnerville, NY from May 8th to September. Several artist talks and workshops are also planned throughout the summer in conjunction with the installations, so stay tuned for more updates!
The Beijing Sphere at Garner Art Center
I am thrilled to show my piece, "The Beijing Sphere," alongside the work of many other talented artists at the Garner Arts Center's Annual Member Show. This piece is a 4' spherical collage inspired by my attendance to the 1995 International Women's Conference in Beijing, China.

Recent Sculpture Commission
Here are some images of the sculptural portrait I just finished of Jane Fonda. It’s now in a foundry in L.A. being cast into bronze. Please look out for the finished piece in about 3 months.
“Wisdom Across the Ages: A Celebration of the Centennial of Archaeomythologist Marija Gimbutas” Online Symposium (July 16-18 2021)
Cristina will be participating in the a symposium to celebrate the legacy of the acclaimed Archaeomythologist Marija Gimbutas. She will be participating in a panel and giving two talks; one on how Marija’s work inspired Cristina’s visual art and the other on her reminiscences about Marija and how her ideas influenced and inspired Cristina. Some of the artwork that Cristina will be discussing will also be on display in a virtual exhibition online.
