The Earth Series

We need to view the Earth – Gaia – in a holistic manner as a living, breathing entity, the way our ancestors did. Plants and animals depend upon the bounty of the Earth and on each other for their sustenance and well-being. I subscribe to the Gaia Hypothesis by James Lovelock which proposes “That living organisms interact with their inorganic surroundings on Earth (Gaia) to form a synergetic and self-regulating complex system that helps to maintain life on the planet.  In other words, Gaia is ALIVE.
